Day 7: A Prayer for Help with Media
He who . . . stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed, and shuts his eyes from seeing evil: he will dwell on high
Dear Jesus, help me to stop looking at things on TV that are bad for me and playing video games where I see evil things. It makes me think of Satan instead of You so I know I shouldn’t do it. I claim your promise in Isaiah 33:15, 16, 'He who . . . stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed, and shuts his eyes from seeing evil: he will dwell on high.' That’s what I really want to do, dwell on high in heaven with You. Help me to say No to hearing and watching evil things. Help me to be the kind of kid You want me to be. Amen.

That our children will obtain their values and worldview from the Word of God and not from TV and video games.
For the things of earth to grow strangely dim in the light of God’s glory and grace.
For God to raise up an army of youth prayer warriors.
